The Indiana Koi & Water Garden Club Inc. was founded to introduce Koi enthusiasts to one another for education and support. Since the formation 13 years ago, we have attracted many Koi related businesses to the Indianapolis and Central Indiana area to support the Koi hobbyists. We are proud to announce that we will be hosting the 2011 AKCA Seminar in Indianapolis.

We are affiliated with the Associated Koi Clubs of America. AKCA has Koi club chapters and conducts annual Koi seminars across the United States in cooperation with the local chapters. The 2010 AKCA Seminar will be held in Nashville, Tennessee from May 19 thru 23. This will be a great Koi Extravaganza.
IK&WGC meets every third Tuesday from February thru October. Meetings are held at various locations in Pendleton and Indianapolis. Oftentimes, meetings are held at a member’s home on Saturdays. These are good, fun, social events which allow people the ability to see a member’s Koi collection and pond. We also organize club bus tours and Koi hunting expeditions.
We conduct an annual pond tour, and next year's pond tour will be in the Indianapolis area. The 2010 Pond Tour will also have a Koi Show. This will be a great opportunity to meet many interesting Koi enthusiasts and see beautiful Koi, inspiring ponds and gorgeous landscaped gardens. Exhibitors include vendors of Koi, pond equipment, supplies, art, jewelry, water plants, other Koi accessories, and free seminars on Koi topics.
